Microchanneling

  • how does it work?

Microchanneling is an evolved form of microneedling that stimulates your body’s natural ability to generate new, healthy skin with little to no downtime.

During the treatment, a device with several tiny needles creates microscopic punctures in the skin. These tiny punctures stimulate the body’s natural healing process and activate collagen production in the treated area. We also utilize ProCell serums which contain growth factors that produce a potent, anti inflammatory effect. These growth factors support cellular renewal and have strong regenerating properties to improve skin firmness, elasticity, texture, and tone. Over time, the repeated healing process will build new collagen, creating healthier skin, improving surface texture, and diminishing the prominence of scarring.

    Benefits:

    Firms and tones the skin

Smooths acne scars & other facial scarring

    Improves rosacea

    Stimulates collagen & elastin production

    Reduces appearance of enlarged pores

    Reduces fine lines & wrinkles

Lightens pigmentation such as sun damage or pigmented acne scarring

  • What can i expect after the treatment?

It is normal to leave the treatment with mild redness & dryness. The degree of redness can vary based on a person’s natural response to treatment. You can expect mild swelling and a tight, warm sensation similar to a mild sunburn that may last 4-24 hours.

Mild skin sloughing or flaking may occur for a few days after treatment. You will be instructed not to apply any moisturizer or SPF until 90 minutes post - treatment and you will be given aftercare to be used in the few days following treatment to enhance your results and healing.

  • how many treatments will i need?

Many people see results after as little as one treatment; however, this is dependent upon the severity of the concerns we are treating. It is recommended to receive a series of at least 3 treatments, but you may require as many as 6 treatments for best results.

Though neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker, more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles.
